2011 HEARTLAND PARK COMBINE RULES
ENTRY PREPARATION
1. All glass must be removed from cab including lights and mirrows. 2. Any sharp or protruding items need to be flattened or removed. 3. Iron spears or external iron used for aggressive action is prohibited. 4. Radiators, transmission coolers must remain in original location or be removed. 5. Fan shrouds may be removed. 6. Electronics mal be altered. 7. Fuel cell must be placed inside grain tank with a no spill type cap.(keep safty in mind) 8. Combine must have reinforced cab with door chained ,wired or welded with adequate roll-over protection. open combines must have a cage for protection must be strong enough so another combine can not get to driver. Make a good sturdy cage or you will not be running. 9. Batteries must be secured in safe area such as grain tank or engine compartment. 10. Grain tables 18' or smaller only, no corn heads, cutting system and reel to be removed. 11. No extra strength can be added to machine such as platform, rear axel, frame etc. Exception: Bracing can be added from combine feeder house to edge of platform, not to exceed the original width of the platform. Rub bars may be placed around the variable drive, hydro-lines and radiator and rear steering cylinder. 12.Grain table must be permanently locked and cylinders removed at a height of 18" to 24" at bottom of table. 13.Rubber tires only, no duals, tracks or calcium chloride filled tires (no hazardous materials) 14. Discharge augers, cab ladder, separator drive belt and straw choppers must be removed. 15. No excessive welding. you may be required to remove parts. 16. If header comes off you will be diqualified. 17. Combines will be inspected after registration. No modifications will be allowed after inspection. Combines may be repaired after heat. 1980 AND NEWER RULES
1) ALL CARS MUST REMAIN STOCK UNLESS STATED IN THESE RULES. ANY 1980 OR NEWER CAR MAY BE USED ALL RULES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. 2) NO SWAPPING OF FRAMES MUST BE STOCK FRAME FOR THAT CAR No 2003 or New Ford Cars or Frame 3) NO ANTIFREEZE 4) ANY TIRE MAY BE USED BUT CAN BE NO MORE THAN 30IN TALL, DOUBLE TIRES AND VALVE STEM PROTECTORS OK. 5) CAR MUST BE FREE FROM ALL DEBRIS. NO PAINTING OR UNDERCOAT ON FRAMES TWO BARS IN FRONT WINDOW REQUIRED TO PREVENT HOOD FROM COMING BACK IN DRIVER’S COMPARTMENT. 6) NO PLATES ON FRESH CAR NO EXCEPTIONS. YOU WILL BE ALLOWED 4 PLATES TO REPAIR FRAME MAY NOT EXCEED 3/16 THICK AND BE NO MORE THAN 4IN LONG AND ON ONE SIDE OF THE FRAME ONLY AND BEND MUST BE NOTICEABLE THIS MEANS FOUR PLATES BEFORE AND AFTER THE DERBY. THERE WILL BE NO SLICING EXTRA PLATES MUST COME OFF CAR. 7) SUSPENSIONS MUST REMAIN STOCK. YOU MAY HAVE TWO CABLE OR CHAINS FROM REAREND TO FRAME. YOU MAY RUN REIFORCED TIE RODS . 8) NO LEAF SPRING CONVERSIONS. YOU MAY HAVE 4 LEAF SPRING CLAMPS PER SIDE NO MORE THAN 2IN WIDE. 9) YOU MAY REPLACE STEERING COLUMN. 10) YOU MAY PATCH SHEET METAL WITH SHEET METAL 11) NO WELDING ON THE FRAME EXCEPT FROM CRUSH BOX FORWARD ONE PASS AND NOT EXCESSIVE TOP AND BOTTOM SIDE ONLY. VERTICAL PINCH WELDS ON MOPAR CARS MAY BE FOLDED AND WELDED. THE RE-WELDING (12” TOTAL LENGTH, ½” WIDE BEAD MAXIMUM, PER FRAME RAIL) OF FACTORY FRAME SEAMS FROM THE “A” FRAMES REARWARD IS ALLOWED. THIS RULE IS TO ALLOW THE WELDING OF FRAME SEEMS THAT WERE NOT WELDED CORRECTLY AT THE FACTORY. ONLY A TOTAL OF 12” ALLOWED. THIS MAY BE 5” ON TOP, 7” ON THE BOTTOM, ETC, FOR A TOTAL OF 12”, PER FRAME RAIL. TILTING ON FORDS IS ALLOWED WITHIN THE 12" RULE. ALSO MOPARS MAY SUCK K FRAME TOGETHER AND WELD OUTSIDE SEAM ONLY...A ARMS FORWARD...NO ADDED METAL.GM CARS WILL BE ALLOWED HUMP PLATES ON FRESH CARS 12" LONG 3/16 THICK AND MUST FALLOW THE CONTOUR OF THE FRAME. 12) YOU MAY WELD BUMPER BRACKETS OR SHOCKS TO FRAME AND BRACKETS TO BUMPER. 13) ANY CAR BUMPER MAY BE USED .YOU MAY USE CHAIN TO HOLD FRONT BUMPER ON GOIN THROUGH HEAD LIGHT HOLES OR CONNECTED TO THE FRAME. ON REAR BUMPER YOU MAY HAVE TWO MAX 4IN STRAPS NO MORE THAN 1/8IN THICK TO HOLD REAR BUMPER ON MUST RUN UP AND DOWN AND NO MORE THAN 4IN ON BUMPER OR TRUNK. 14) BODY BOLTS MAY BE REPLACED BUT MAY NOT BE OVER ¾ IN AND MAY WASHERS MAY NOT EXCEED 5IN IN DIAMETER. MUST BE AT LEAST 1IN GAP BETWEEN FRAME AND BODY YOU MAY USE STEEL WASHERS OR SOME TYPE OF SPACER BUT MUST BE CLOSE TO FACTORY DIAMATER. NUTS MUST BE INSIDE THE BOTTOM OF THE FRAME - NO BOLTS ALL THE WAY THRU FRAME. 15) ANY MOTOR, TRANS, AND ANY 5 BOLT CAR REAREND MAY BE USED BUT IF WELDING IN MOTOR MOUNTS MUST BE CLEAN WITH OUT USING ANY EXCESSIVE METAL TO MAKE WORK. 16) DASH BAR AND BACK BAR MAY NOT EXCEED 5IN IN DIAMETER AND MUST HAVE MIN 5IN PLATE AND MAX OF 12IN PLATE ON EACH END AND BACK BAR MAY NOT GO MORE THAN 8IN BEHIND REAR SEAM OF FRONT DOOR. YOU MAY HAVE PASSENGER DOOR BAR. 17) YOU MAY HAVE A ROLL OVER BAR BUT MUST CONNECT TO BACK BAR OR FLOOR PAN CAN NOT CONNECT TO FRAME IN ANYWAY AND CAN NOT BE CONNECTED TO THE ROOF. NO KICKERS TO THE FRAME. 18) YOU MAY HAVE ONE SPOT OF #9 WIRE PER WINDOW OPENING NO MORE THAN 4 WIRES THICK AND MAY CONNECT TO THE FRAME. 19) YOU MAY WELD ALL DOORS SHUT SOLID WITH UP TO 4IN STRAP NO MORE THAN 1/8IN THICK. 20) NO INNER SEAM WELDING THIS INCLUDES INSIDE MOTOR COMPARTMENT. THIS APPLIES TO SEDAGONS TO MUST BE BOLTED PER TRUNK RULES. 21) HOOD MAY BE BOLTED OR CHAINED ONE OR THE OTHER IF USING BOLTS YOU MAY USE UP TO 6 BOLTS, TWO THROUGH THE FRAME AND OTHER FOUR MAY ONLY GO THROUGH SHEET METAL. IF CHAINING YOU MAY USE UP TO 4 CHAINS FRONT TWO MAY GO THROUGH HOOD AND AROUND FRONT BUMPER, AND OTHER TWO MAY GO THROUGH HOOD AND FENDERS BUT MAY NOT CONNECT TO THE FRAME ANYWHERE. 22) TRUNKS MAY BE WELDED OR CHAINED YOU MAY HAVE UP TO FOUR BOLTS NOT TO EXCEED 1 INCH THICK, 2 OF THEM MAY GO THRU THE TOP SIDE OF THE FRAME AS BODY BOLTS, IF WELDING TRUNK YOU MAY WELD 5INCHS SKIP 5 INCHS IF USING CHAINS YOU MAY USE TWO 3/8 CHAINS THROUGH TRUNK, FLOOR AND AROUND REAR BUMPER. TRUNKS MAY BE TUCKED AND WAGONS MAY BE SEDAGONED. 23) ALL DECKING IN WAGONS MUST BE REMOVED. 24) HOOD MUST REMAIN IN STOCK LOCATION. 25) FUEL TANK AND BATTERY MUST BE SERCURE . 26) MANDATORY TWO BARS IN FRONT WINDSHIELD AREA MAY NOT GO MORE THAN FOUR INCHES PAST TOP OR BOTTOM OF WHERE FRONT WINDOW. 27) NO BARS FROM ROOF TO TRUNK. 28) NO LEAF CONVERSIONS. 29) YOU MAY PREBEND CAR BUT MUST BE MIMIMAL. 30) YOU MAY NOTCH FRAME BUT NO REWELDING OF IT. 31) WHEEL WELLS MAY BE CUT OUT AND BE BOLTED BACK WITH SIX 3/8 BOLTS. 32) PLATES ON HOOD AND TRUNK FOR ALLTHREAD AND SUCH ARE TO BE NO LARGER THEN 5X5.

how come no compacts this show?? we put on a good show!! you should allow the frist 15 that show up be able to run. or have a outlaw compact show that would help bring more fans in to watch

Hate to do this but we may have to run heats on the 80s and newer class not sure how meny combines are coming for sure and mite have to strech the show out by runing heats so bring some spare parts and tires sorry about this if it causes problems. Thanks Daren
