2015 STOCK RULES Chain and Bolt only Saturday June 6th at 12:00pm at Winfield Fair Grounds.
Come join us for a new experience and a new demo.
This demo is open to anyone who placed in the top 8 at any of the following demo derbies or received the Mad dog at one of these shows. Cheney, Stafford, Winfield, Caldwell, Emporia, Harper, 81 speedway. Open to any man and woman 18 and over. Driver must have a driver’s license or proof of age. In fairness to all, the following rules and regulations shall prevail.
If you did not place in the top 8 we will have two options to make this demo.
1. You can buy a spot from someone that has double qualified. To do that you will pay your entry and the entry of the driver whose spot you bought. I will only take entries from qualifiers. So it will be up to you and the person who qualified to get together and pay for their entry and send the entries to me together. As a multiple qualifier you can only sell one spot.
2. There will be a heat before the demo you can get in that heat if you did not qualify this year. There must be at least 8 cars and you must pre enter for this heat. We will take 30% of the field to the regular show If 10 shows up we take 3, 15 show we take 5. The entry will be $50 for this heat. This heat is to get in the show you will still have to run the heat and then consolation or final. You must use same car for the show that you used for the qualify heat. There will be no welding or repairing of the frame after first heat. You may put tires or cut away metal.
ENTRY FEE
Pre entries will be taken up too Monday May 27th by 6pm with pre entry you will receive one free pit pass for your pit crew. All other entries will be accepted up to 2 hour prior to race time. Each car/driver shall pay $40. Each pit person shall pay $20.00. No entry without car if you enter a car and the car does not make it to the race you will be refunded your money and then will have to buy pit passes. All drivers and pit persons must sign waiver and release of liability before entering pit area or track. Back up driver must be the mechanic listed on your entry form. This is a stock class it will remain a stock class so do not do any more than what is stated in these rules. Do not do anything to make your car illegal after inspection.
If this happens you will be disqualified and no return of entry. Officials have the right to re-inspect your cars at any time
PRIZE MONEY is guaranteed if 10 or more cars show.
1. $5000 Top 3 in heat go to Finals
2. $3000 Top 3 in Consolation go to Finals
3. $1000 Both heat and consolation winners get $25
There will be added money this will be payout as of now. We are seeking sponsors at this time to help with the demo.
Winner of this demo will be automatically qualified for 2016 championship.
Top 3 will get trophies. If top 2 are hung up in the feature we will separate to finish the race.
PARTICIPANT REGULATIONS
Driver may move forward or backward. Driver must make contact every 60 seconds or be disqualified. No sandbagging or team driving. If you sandbag/team drive the race will be stopped and a sandbagger/team driving flag will be put on top of your car and whoever takes you out will automatically advance to the feature. If there is a sandbagger/team driver in the feature whoever takes him/her out will get $50.00. No team driving allowed not even on a sandbagger. Team driving definition you may not hold a car so another car can make a hit on it. Cars must move when hit or show visible damage. No driver’s door hits allowed.

SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Cars must have at least two bars attached from roof down to dash area to prevent hood from coming in. Can use chain or 2in by 1/4 steel bars welded no more than 4 inches on roof or hood area.
2. Radiator over flow hoses must be pointed at the ground and fastened so they cannot shoot water towards officials or other drivers.
3. Header pipes must be pointing straight up cannot be aimed towards front or side of cars.
4. Note if you have a hole in the fire wall it must be covered.
5. Safety belts required.
6. D.O.T. approved helmets mandatory. Any driver using an open face helmet will be required to wear safety goggles or shield.
7. Safety goggles or shield recommended.
8. Mandatory-you must wear long pants and a shirt (fire suit recommended).
9. 2 fires and you are out unless it’s a fuel fire then it’s just 1 fire and you are out.
10. No alcoholic beverages or drugs allowed in pit area or on the track.
11. NO PIT PERSONS ALLOWED ON THE TRACK.
12. Note management does have the right to disqualify a car/driver at any time. Any person on track or causing trouble and not complying with the rules will be asked to leave (we can have you escorted off or have you arrested and you can be banned from running).
13. Protests must be made no later than 5 minutes after the heat in question. No protests will be taken after feature event. Only Drivers in this class are allowed to protest a car. Protest fee is $100 if your protest is found to have merit you get your money back if not the driver of the car that was protested gets your money.
PREPARATION OF CARS
No screws allowed on outside of car. NO PLASTIC GAS TANKS (heavy duty plastic racing fuel cells are allowed). No wedging, no sedagons, no jeeps, no trucks (ranchero and el Caminos are considered trucks), no carryalls, no Hearst, no limos, no convertibles, no Imperials 74 and older or Imperial subs. All glass, chrome, pot metal, lights, carpet, headliner, back seats, fiber glass and anything else that is flammable must be removed before reaching the exhibit area (do not break glass down in the doors). Trunks must be empty of all debris, spare tire rims, parts, etc. Wagons must have spare tire flap removed or hole cut in it for inspectors to see.
ABSOLUTELY NO welding besides what is stated in these rules. UNLIMITED 9-WIRE do not use this were rules specify how much wire u can use , I.E. doors and bumpers.
MANDATORY
You must have number on both sides of the car big enough to read and bright enough color to see. Also must have number on roof with name on roof above front doors. Use your choice of number. No profanity allowed on cars.
ENGINE
Engines must be GM to GM, Ford to Ford etc. stock only. You may change carb and intake and ignition. You may use 2 chains to retain one on each side or use two straps, 2 inch by 3/16 thick to hold motor in can ONLY be welded to TOP of frame no more than 3inch long weld. You may use header pipes. No high HP motors this is a stock show. No engine cradles or dp’s.
RADIATORS
Must be an automotive radiator, remain stock and in the stock location. No home made radiators.
TRANSMISSION
Must be gm to gm, ford to ford, mopar to mopar. Transmission coolers are allowed. Must have double clamps on all rubber to steel lines. No transmission protectors must be stock. May have chain to secure.
BATTERY
Must be in passenger side floor and be covered with something nonflammable like rubber tube, rubber floor mat, etc. Batteries must be secured so they don’t move. 2- 12v batteries max.
SUSPENSION
Must remain stock. No weld on shocks, no trailer hitches, special lifts, blocks, air shackles, air shocks, air lifts must be deflated. Cars must have give or bounce. Spring spacers ok if after market. Shocks ok if aftermarket no home made shocks.
REAR ENDS
Rear ends must be 5 lug, gm to gm ford to ford mopar to mopar. Locking of rear ends permitted. Stock gear and mounting for make, year and model of car.
DRIVE SHAFTS
Must be OEM stock drive shaft. It may be shortened or lengthened but not reinforced.
TRAILING ARMS & A-ARMS
Must be factory. Absolutely no reinforcing, shortening or lengthening.
STEERING COLUMN/BRAKES/SHIFTER
The steering column must be stock you may put steering knuckle at rag joint. Brakes must be stock and work. All components must be stock. You may put shifter on the floor or attached to the tranny.
HOOD
Hood must remain in factory position. 6 hood bolts allowed only 2 may go through the frame cannot be directly in front or behind the radiator. Bolts must not be any bigger than ¾ with washers no bigger than 6 inches outside diameter. You must have 2 holes cut in the hood big enough for fire extinguisher. Not directly over carburetor. You may use 20 bolts around header holes no bigger than SAE 3/8 with washers no bigger than 1 inch outside diameter.
TRUNK
You can use 4 ¾ bolts in trunk and 2 may go through frame with washers no bigger than 6 inches outside diameter. Trunk lids must remain on factory hinges. Tucking or V’ing of trunk lid is allowed, but absolutely no wedging. You may chain or nine wire in 10 total places around the trunk lid. NO MORE THAN 50% OF TRUNK MAY BE TUCKED.
BODY
No seam welding, no patching. Pre-denting is okay.
FENDERS
Fenders may be trimmed and 10 bolts may be used per fender. Bolts are to be no bigger than 3/8 with washers no bigger than 1 inch outside diameter.
BODY MOUNT BOLTS
Must be factory. Bushings must be factory. Body bolts if missing a bolt you may replace with same size as factory bolt. If bushing is missing you may wire mount with 9 wire.
FRAME
Absolutely no welding on frame. No reinforcing of frame what so ever. You can notch the frame. You may pre bend frame. You may not put fix it patch on a fresh car. You may patch or fix the frame with a max of 6- 4x4x1/4 plates per car. 3 patches per frame rail. There must be visible damage to the frame, I.E. tear or bend. A patch may not be closer than 2 inches to another patch. If you have to patch after your heat and have 6 plates one must be removed before one is added.
DOORS
Driver’s door may be welded solid with a strap no bigger than 3 inches, on the outside only. On drivers door only you may reinforce inside the car however you want as long as it does not attach to the frame and does not go past door seams more than 6 inches and is deemed safe by inspectors. . You must have a safety bar welded or bolted if bolted must have 4 bolts through bar to body. Bar cannot go past door seam by more than 6 inches. All other doors you may chain up to 4 places per door or you may wire 6 places per door. On wagon’s tailgates NO WELDING. You may chain or nine wire in six places.
CAGE
You may have a cage with two side bars one on the drivers door and one on the passanger door and two cross bars one behind the seat and one at the dash. The cage cannot extend past the dash area in the front and must be no further back than 5 inches behind front seat or behind the front door seam I.E. 2 door cars. This can be welded in. Absolutely no kickers. You may have 4 down bars they can not go to the frame. You may have a halo bar. None of the cage or halo can connect to the frame. Halo cannot connect to the windshield bars or the roof sign.
BUMPERS
No welding on bumpers. They can be wired, chained or bolted from mount to mount. You may remove brackets but you cannot add any. IE. you can put bolts or chain anywhere between the mounts to the car, 6 bolts ¾ inch max . No welding of shocks or brackets. If you have an aluminum bumper you may change it, to a stock model bumper for that make. Bumper swaps ok, must be gm to gm ford to ford mopar to mopar. Brackets must be stock to the car you are running, no changing the mounting brackets for the make, model and year of car. If you swap bumpers and use brackets you must use the factory brackets that came on your car. NO
WELDING OF SKINS. Make sure bumpers are well secured we don’t want to pick them up all night.
GAS TANKS
Maximum of 7 gallons of gas. Fuel cells/metal boat tanks must be placed in back seat area and properly secured. NO STOCK TANKS. Fuel cells must be secured so there is no movement (Do not use bungee cords for this). If tank is not secure you will not be running. Fuel cells must have secure caps and be leak proof. All fuel lines must have no leaks. Stock gas tanks must be removed or have holes in them and washed out. NO PLASTIC TANKS (heavy plastic racing fuel cells may be used). You must have a shield of tin or something to keep gas from splashing on driver in case of tank leaking (this may be mounted with screws).
TIRES
D.O.T. approved tires. Tire inside of tire is okay. No fluid inside of tires. No valve stem protectors. No implement tires, no tractor tires, no wheel weights make sure you remove them even from your spares.
Repairs in the pit the day of the race you may repair your cars to a factory fix. If during inspection after the show the inspectors find it to be excessive you will be ejected and forfeit your winnings.
This is a stock class it will remain a stock class so do not do any more than what is stated in these rules. Do not do anything to make your car illegal after inspection. If this happens you will be disqualified and no return of entry. Officials have the right to re-inspect your cars at any time.

2016 qualifying rules.
1. Must have 10 points to qualify for championship race in 2016.
2. Winner of a race will receive 5 points.
3. Top 8 get 4 points per race.
4. If show has a maddog he will get 3 points for the race.
5. Show up to a race ,car passes inspection and you run in at least one heat you will receive 2 points.
These points are not added up per race IE. If you show up and win the race u get 5 points, not 2 for showing up, 4 for top eight and 5 for the win.
The races that were qualifiers this year will also be qualifiers for next year and I am trying to add more shows as we can get shows to run chain and bolt, Old Skool Productions rules.
