Oops forgot that part, yes it's FWD. Also can the trunk be welded? Or is the only option bolts? Try reading the rules

Oops forgot that part, yes it's FWD. Also can the trunk be welded? Or is the only option bolts? FWD rules All exterior seams may be welded using the weld 4" skip 4" rule. No welding of interior seams. NO FRAME WELDING. Driver's door may be welded solid. may also use two chains per seam this should help Try not to be so hard on the females Cody it hard enough to get them in the sport ;D

But the front drive shaft must be removed to run . than I will not be bring a truck 4x4 set to high and will go right over 2x4 bumpers. Have fun with that. Im building a truck to the rules and now they get changed. I guess I need to rebuild it to make it set higher. So is there no limit to leafs or what. Or are you going to set a height limit from the ground to the bottom of bumpers?

DAREN, IM NOT TRYING TO STIR UP SHIT (LIKE ANYONE BELIEVES THAT) BUT HOW FAIR IS IT THAT THE RULES HAVE BEEN POSTED SINCE JANUARY, GUYS HAVE PICKED,STRIPPED AND BUILT THEIR TRUCKS AND NOW THEY ARE BEING TOLD THAT THEY COULD HAVE SPENT THEIR TIME BUILDING A CONVERTED 4X4? WE ALL KNOW WHAT THE FRONT LEAF SPRINGS ARE CAPABLE OF HELPING VERSUS A COIL SPRUNG TRUCK....WHY MAKE 5 GUYS HAPPY BY PISSING OFF 10 OTHERS? IT SEEMS WRONG... WE DO HAVE A SPONSORED TRUCK THAT WAS BUILT FOR THE "OLD" RULES, BUT NOW HE IS TALKING ABOUT NOT GOING......

We are bringing a 4x4 suburban that has coils up front and my 1/2 to 2wd pickup sits higher than it does so I guess there is an exception to every rule

ok did some checking and on the 4X4 trucks the max bumper hieght will be 22" to the bottom of the front bumper and the leafs you can have five leafs and must have a 4" stagger on the leafs on the front and no more than two spring clamps per side .This is for the 4x4 trucks only
