As much as I love the spring derby I have to say this years was sloppy how about all the drivers doors? I mean the ones they called on the people that weren't in the know And the team driving in the end was well....hello do you just wait until the feature is almost over before you tell the other 2 guys to start hitting each other. C'mon guys you all know better and I''m pretty sure everyone pays the same to get in ? What about no coolers, what's up with that....Oh right 3 dollar cans of beer, lol ( I don't drink but damn!) All in all I am glad it only cost 8 bucks to get in because anymore and I would be bitching about that too. I hope the fair derby is better. Cudos to the truck drivers they tried putting on a show thanks for the try! ps. A little advertising goes a long ways to fill the seats

A little advertising goes a long ways to fill the seats Not sure who you are seen this is your first post and no name but if you would read the other posts I told everyone I had no control over the coolers you need to call the county comissioners on that one If you want there number I have it .On the team driving I am sorry I did let it go longer then I should have and I am sorry . The drivers where told in the meeting if they where pulling drivers doors that was on them if your going to use it to hidebeind then your going to get hit there at times .Pease put your name on the next post so I know who I am talking to . And on the advertising I dont know what you read or lisen to but it was on five radio stations ten times a day for a week and the emporia paper for a week and also in the shopper for the week of to sorry you didnt see it or hear it at any of those times Thanks Daren Moore

It was a good show Daren, can't speak for anyone else but I had a blast and junked my car, glad ya pulled out the powder puff cars and let us go at it again! Got to junk my car, and that was what I went to do! Good turn out on FWD and Powder Puff. Congrats to all!

Really? i dont see why people bitched about team driving.... this was one of the first shows i have seen in a while where there was hardly any... i watched nick hit richard about a thousand times... not saying richard hit him but they drove more respectable this derby than most other ones in the past...
Good job on finish guys.. hope to see more than 16 show at topeka

I agree with the majority in saying it was a good show. A friend and I drove down from Abilene to come see it and we felt Daren did a fine job promoting. As far as the coolers are allowed, Idk if it's just around here or what but that seems to be fairly common up this way. I felt the team driving wasn't bad at all either, we all know once it comes down to guys that run together they are gonna ease up a little bit and take out the weaker cars. The highlight of the night was in the consolation when the two blue cars were eyeing 69 and 57 and then shot over the bank, that was great. All in all, good show that was worth an hour and a half drive. Cory Ward - Abilene, KS
