Jake and I are both running a car in the full size event and would be interested in the mini event also. Neither one of us can haul two cars on our trailers at one time, so would we be allowed to leave cars in the pit area ahead of time and after the derby if we get them picked up before the figure 8 races the next night? Heck if the mini car still drives we may just finish them off in the figure 8 races.

The way I'm looking at it there are a lot of people around here who have never seen a team event and the action is awesome. If it's 4 or 5 teams that's only 8 to 10 cars. I think it would put on a really good show and Mac we were looking at a $50 entry per team. Wow $50 entry, im not paying that much for a $1000 to win pluse still have to split the money with the other guy and the cost of the build and the gas for everything, I will just stick with my main plan and build my two cars and have my chances with the main show and still be cheaper, but hey what do I know im just a driver/builder not a promoter good luck on figuring out what to do, I will be there for the big money at the end of the night when everyone is to worried about the one heat show, Im going to build my cars to how I think the rules read that have been posted and show up, i will not be on here anymore due to work and building cars for upcoming shows, good luck to everyone and see everyone there hoping for a good turn out on car count but if not I understand, see everyone there.

Not bad at 50$ considering its per team and its only one heat. I have an 80 camaro but no teamate or id do it.

Sure don't think $50 per team is crazy when there are going to be only 3 or 4 teams to take out for the money. But I don't knock u for wanting to take your chance in the main event I just think there is going to be a interest for both

I LOOK AT IT LIKE THIS.... I CAN BUY A MINI CAR FOR AROUND $350, AND IT WILL BE WORTH THAT WHEN I SCRAP IT, SO ITS FREE... I HAVE ALL THE PARTS TO PUT IT TOGETHER ALREADY, THAT MONEY WAS SPENT A LONG TIME AGO.... YOU CAN BUILD ONE IN 3 DAYS EASY.... NO CHAINS, USING WIRE ONLY... LESS MONEY, AND DONT HAVE TO WASTE TIME UNBOLTING CHAINS TO SAVE LATER..... IF I WIN 500 BUCKS, GREAT.IF I DONT, OH WELL...... I WILL HAVE FUN, REST ASSURED...

There u go nailed it, but thats not everyone i dont have everything to put in the car so lets take that 350 add in the cost of wire or chain pluse bolts cost for a cage plus the wire and gas for the welder, dont forget u got to put gas in the truck to haul it and in the car its adding up plus another 25 to enter might as well build another big car for that same cost and try to make it to the top four to try and brake even so im sure my math is just fine on the bill at the end of the build and i know for sure running a mini car across the scale after its all said and done still wouldnt but a dent in the cost, i dont care what anyone says they get across the scale not everyone has a big pile of iorn laying around to cut the top and stuff it and even then i doubt it will even bring 250.

Funny i also had a bullriding buddy he always did say thing one thing alot, make sure the horns are cut before u kick the bull before u get hurt. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS SAYS AT ALL? Well i will explain it to you this mini heat to me is the bull, and it will hurt my pocket, so i will cut the horns and kick the idea so it wont hurt my pocket i will take my chance on building two cars for the main derby and the other driver i have is pretty good so ya my math is pretty good if both cars do good im looking at taking a good chuck of change home with me. $$$$$$$ plus some junk cars or maybe good enough to hit another show then again two csrs place $$$$$$ ya its going to take more the a two inch mistake to take my two cars out this year with this kind of money and with one car rolling out of the shop today and the next one rolling in u better be danm straight stupidty isnt whats going to be taking me out this year it a home town show for me been doing this crap for over 15 years and been running this show for over 8 taking this maybe the end of derbying for me nothing lik. Putting up a nasty fight and a good challenge for the top cars in the finals right.

THE MINI CAR I HAVE WEIGHS IN AT $3400 POUNDS BEFORE BEING STRIPPED AND BUILT. AFTERWARDS (GUESS WHAT?) I STUFF ALL THE SAME CRAP BACK INTO IT AND IT WEIGHS THE SAME 3400 POUNDS OVER THE SCALES, IT WILL NET $340.00 .... REMEMBER WHEN WE ALL USED TO RUN FOR $500.00 TO WIN AND WE SPENT 6 MONTHS BUILDING ONE CAR................. HERES A CHANCE TO RUN FOR A BETTER PERCENTAGE OF RETURN BASED ON LESS WORK AND MONEY GOING INTO THE CAR...... BUT, IF YOU DONT WANT TO BUILD A MINI, JUST WATCH US HAVE FUN........

No need for me to even watch it eather i will be working on my 2 cars getting them ready and prepared for the finals, thats the only good thing about this mini heat and Was the reason for having it was so it gave guys a little more time to get there cars ready for the finals and so tje fans have something to. Watch in the mean time
