2016 Midwest Smash Fest: Fillmore County Fair in Geneva, NE
Date: Sunday, July 17th, 2016
Purse: $35,000 (Guaranteed...Including Trophies for Top 5 Teams)

Main Event: 2-Man Team Demo (Pre-Registration Only)
24 Team Limit (we will have up to 2-4 Teams on Stand-By)

Note:
Pre-Registration will officially open to EVERYONE beginning on Monday, December 28th. Post Mark Envelopes no earlier than December 28th. You can date your checks however you want, but all Team Checks WILL be turned in to Fair Board to be cashed 2 months before the show or on May 17th, 2016. Absolutely no exceptions. Once Team Checks are cashed, if a Team backs out for whatever reason, that Team's entry money will stay with the Fair Board. If the previous scenario happens after the 2 month window & there are Stand-By Teams still wanting in, the Stand-By Team will have their Entry Fee covered by the Team that backed out after May 17th, 2016.
There will be no grace period this year for Teams that have run in the past due to the show being changed to No Weld Rules.

I must have Check In Hand to Lock Your Spot! Definitely Call Chad Bumgarner, but your spot will only be locked in once I have your Check! As soon as I have that, I will contact each Team to let them know you're good to go, so please have contact info included in the envelope!
Team color choices will be based on check arrival. The sooner I have your check, the sooner I can secure your color choice!

*Check In time begins @ 11am CST. Teams will be assigned these times after show is full!
*You will have 30 minutes to fix your car after initial inspection by Crash Fest Express Promotions
2016 Team Show Car Regulations:
1)Team Cars may be Pre-Ran or Fresh Cars & can be Old Iron or New Iron as long as it meets the Crash Fest cars that are allowed. Cars Fresh or Pre-Ran must be built to 2016 Crash Fest Express No-Weld Rules Only
2)Also, you may have 2 plates per frame rail on fresh or pre-ran cars within our repair plate rule. 2 plates max & once you run your heats & need additional plates for damage, you will be allowed to go to a maximum of 4 plates per frame rail as stated in our repair rules.
Team Show Format:
1 vs 1 (12 Heats w/ 2 Teams in each Heat)
Heats will be drawn @ Driver's Meeting right before show starts (Driver's Meeting will begin on time @ 4:30 pm)
12 Minute time limit per heat or both Teams go to B Main
Winners of each Heat go straight to A Main (12 Teams)
Teams that don't win their Heat go to B Main (12 Teams)
No holding to win. You can't time out a car to win by holding them.
Last Place in A Main will pay same as first in B Main
**Winner of B Main has option to advance to A Main w/ the following stipulations:
1)Has to be last car running on winning Team
2)If both Team cars are last 2 running @ end of B Main, then & only then will they be able to decide which car goes to A Main
**Winner of B Main Option 1:
*Winning Team of B Main may collect their 1st place checks, then load cars with no option to run again.
**Winner of B Main Option 2:
*B Main winners may choose to run A Main for equal or greater prize money, but will only be paid from A Main
