I've been getting calls all week. Got some new drivers coming this year. Looking forward to a great event. Just hope I don't load too many on the trailers like last year. Thanks, Rob

We would like to thank everyone for coming out last night. Had a few issues with car having to cut alot, but everyone made the changes to be able to run. I liked hearing drivers telling us that they wish things could change back to lesser weld builds. I agree with you guys. This is the first time I've heard about other rules/derbys allowing car to be welded solid and be able to plate the front and back of fresh cars!! That's not derbys!!
Anyways, The show was great in all classes. The weld heats were slow at first with the track being a little muddy from the morning rain, but after we got the slim of the top. Thing really got moving.
Bolt/chain class got the crowd on it's feet. The the weld conys picked the action up as well. The Compact class--- All I can say is- WOW!!!!!!
Weld feature all took about 2 minutes then it was ON. 318 and 96 had 1 hell of a battle and loved hearing the screaming pipes. It's too bad the the 16 car lost reverse as he was track shot after track shot!
This fair board is one of the best to work with. They truely want a fair and fun event for everyone from drivers to fans. Very nice track and crew all around.
Nice run to everyone. I'll post more once I get back home.
We are talking about running a Stock weld class next year. More to be posted on that later.
Thanks again and can't wait for next year. Rob Baker R&R Promotions
