Few questions What's the rule for using wire or chains to hold bumpers on the car? Is it two per bumper for chain or unlimited nine wire? I'm building an 83 caprice but it has an aluminum bumper from what I can tell. Would a 77 Malibu bumper work or do I need a 83 Chevy bumper? Are window bars allowed to be welded in? U may chain or bolt or wire bummper feom mount to mount.can you can use a caprice bummper of steel constrution. your dash bars must be bolted in or wired

Window bars can't brindle welded........and it says unlimited 9 wire Gage so I'd say yes wire em in......most your questions can be answered in the rules.......however I hear there's gonna be welded cars that's allowed to cut the welds...that's b.s if its true....no welds means no welds.....if they welded the.doors etc.for a weld show I'd say there's something else welded.....

BRANDON, WE HAVE TO USE FACTORY LUG NUTS CORRECT? JUST MAKING SURE THAT THE ONE INCH RACING LUG NUTS WOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED" STOCK" AND WONT BE ALLOWED.... AND ALL WHEELS MUST HAVE THE FACTORY BOLT PATTERN IN THEM, WITH NO MODIFICATIONS SUCH AS NEW HOLES BEING DRILLED OR MULTI-BOLT PATTERN PLATES USED, CORRECT? AND D.O.T. STAMPS ON THE TIRES?

Got the trunk tucked today, starting to look good, seen a few other cars today, way better then what I thought anyone would take.
And I hope we can use race lug nuta I just dropped 20 $ on a set I don't see them being an advantage but who knows.

Ok john stock is stock you must have stock lug nuts and stock rims with out any mods and tires must be Dot approved Guys you are thinking to much into this stock is stock I don't know how many times I can say this. Strip the car wire and chain it up and come to play.

This seems to be getting more complicated than I ever thought a stock show would get, but I'm going to add to it: My car is pre-ran (in a stock show, not even built as well as these rules will allow). When I changed over to my 2bl carb last yr I changed my throttle and trashed all of the original stuff. Here is what I have now; a cable attached from the carb to a foot pedal that is bolted the floor sheet metal. Nothing is mounted to the bell housing, engine, frame, or crossmembers. Neither the cable or pedal are the original equipment but they are mounted and work like stock. Since I didn't see any rules directly regarding throttle linkages I thought I would ask if this would fly...
Thanks.
