FRAME Absolutely no welding on frame. No reinforcing of frame what so ever. You can notch the frame. NO PATCHING OF FRAMES.
This is a great rule.....the "no reinforcing of the frame what so ever" means no tilting of the frame seeing how that would be reinforcing....CORRECT?....even a cold tilt....

Mac you could tilt the frame which would be no different than notching because u can not weld it back together. So I see no reason why someone would want to. All u would be doing is cutting the frame because if u use any thing to hold it together it would be reinforcing. I will not let you add anything to the frame for reinforcing. Just remember guys this is a stock show and will remain a stock show don't take chances that u will miss out on this show.

I have had a lot of calls on the front bolt rules in the hood as long a your bolts are not in front or behind your radiator I will let you put them where you want you may have 2 bolts in the frame the other bolts must be sheet metal to sheet metal. You may run your front bolts through the core support but your body mounts must still be intact, under the body mount rule they must be stock and there.

No matter how you type it, your still confusing.......so if im reading this right....I can remove the body bolt at the core support and replace with allthread as long as I leave in the pucks and rubber bushing?

So all body "bolts" have to remain stock except the core support bolts. The core support bolts can be changed to all-thread, but since the original bushing must be used your all-thread will be limited to original bolt size (5/8?). Or you can leave the original core support bolts in and add all-thread directly in front of or behind the core support as long as they do not line up with the radiator and the are not welded to the frame...
Do I have it right?

Jason if I understand correctly what your saying according to the rules would be right. So im guessing best scenario would be.....leave stock core support bolts in then go in front or behind it and blow a hole to run 3/4 althread as your 2 hood bolts that are allowed to be 3/4. otherwise if we just remove the original support bolts, like you say they are only 5/8, and no way to put allthread through that being pucks have to stay? hell idk....im building my car and bringing the rules with me to inspection line....a lot of confusing areas.....lol.....nothing against the guys running it, just confusing in some areas....

BRANDON, WE NEED A CLARIFICATION ON THAT CORE SUPPORT "BOLT- ALL THREAD" AREA. YOU CANT RUN A 3/4 INCH ALL THREAD THROUGH A STOCK GM CORE SUPPORT STEEL CONE. SO WE NOW MUST USE A SMALLER DIAMETER BOLT TO RETAIN THE CORE SUPPORT AND THEN USE AN ADDITIONAL PIECE OF 3/4 INCH ALL THREAD INSTALLED IN A NEW HOLE WE MAKE IN THE FRAME? SEEMS COUNTER PRODUCTIVE TO "QUICK BUILD".......A SOLUTION WOULD BE TO ALLOW THE RADIATOR CORE SUPPORT TO BE BOLTED DOWN TO THE FRAME WITHOUT THE BUSHING AND CONE. QUICK AND EASY......WHAT ABOUT USING DIFFERENT RIMS THAN WHAT CAME ON THE CAR AS LONG AS NO MODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THEM? AND ARE WE ALSO REQUIRED TO USE THE STOCK BUSHING AND CONE FOR THE REAR TRUNK ALL THREAD?

IM ASSUMING THAT AFTERMARKET INTAKE MANIFOLDS WILL NOT PASS AS "STOCK", CORRECT?

Your reading to much into it jon....lol, If were down to the intake manifold as a question im screwed....mine is a stock motor for the year of car, but intake isn't a factory intake....I doubt that matters much, or would alter the car.....I asked him about the althread question as you stated. I contacted him myself, to clarify. it was confusing to read but I know now what to do. don't rack your brain to hard on the little questions that's not going to alter the outcome or performance of the car....if your asking questions like the intake jon, hell a set of 4-1 headers out the hood isn't STOCK....c'mon guy nor is the gas tank inside the car, trans cooler, battery......lets not get ridiculous. Just because your didn't do it or not going to do it doesn't mean its illegal
