Your reading to much into it jon....lol, If were down to the intake manifold as a question im screwed....mine is a stock motor for the year of car, but intake isn't a factory intake....I doubt that matters much, or would alter the car.....I asked him about the althread question as you stated. I contacted him myself, to clarify. it was confusing to read but I know now what to do. don't rack your brain to hard on the little questions that's not going to alter the outcome or performance of the car....if your asking questions like the intake jon, hell a set of 4-1 headers out the hood isn't STOCK....c'mon guy nor is the gas tank inside the car, trans cooler, battery......lets not get ridiculous. Just because your didn't do it or not going to do it doesn't mean its illegal

JUST WANTING TO AVOID ANY ISSUES IN INSPECTION. IF AFTERMARKET INTAKE MANIFOLDS ARE NOT ALLOWED, I WILL SWAP A CAST IRON ONE ON IT. NO BIG DEAL. IF ENGINES ARE REQUIRED TO BE STOCK, THEY SHOULD BE......

So all body "bolts" have to remain stock except the core support bolts. The core support bolts can be changed to all-thread, but since the original bushing must be used your all-thread will be limited to original bolt size (5/8?). Or you can leave the original core support bolts in and add all-thread directly in front of or behind the core support as long as they do not line up with the radiator and the are not welded to the frame... Do I have it right? Sorry guys, Been busy, yes Jason you have it right but I will let you run 3/4 all thread though the core support but the body mount must remain in place.

BRANDON, WE NEED A CLARIFICATION ON THAT CORE SUPPORT "BOLT- ALL THREAD" AREA. YOU CANT RUN A 3/4 INCH ALL THREAD THROUGH A STOCK GM CORE SUPPORT STEEL CONE. SO WE NOW MUST USE A SMALLER DIAMETER BOLT TO RETAIN THE CORE SUPPORT AND THEN USE AN ADDITIONAL PIECE OF 3/4 INCH ALL THREAD INSTALLED IN A NEW HOLE WE MAKE IN THE FRAME? SEEMS COUNTER PRODUCTIVE TO "QUICK BUILD".......A SOLUTION WOULD BE TO ALLOW THE RADIATOR CORE SUPPORT TO BE BOLTED DOWN TO THE FRAME WITHOUT THE BUSHING AND CONE. QUICK AND EASY......WHAT ABOUT USING DIFFERENT RIMS THAN WHAT CAME ON THE CAR AS LONG AS NO MODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THEM? AND ARE WE ALSO REQUIRED TO USE THE STOCK BUSHING AND CONE FOR THE REAR TRUNK ALL THREAD? we talked about the core support the other night and what I would like to see ya do is punch a hole in the frame right behind or in front of core support out side the radiator and bolt it down if u have to run your thread though your core support you must leave the bushings. I will let you run a stock wheel any stock or aftermarket wheel that has not had any modifications to it. In the rear of the car if you run all thread though a stock body bushing hole it must have the bushing in it. I would recommend moving your all-thread away from a body mount and gain another spot to hold the body to frame.

SO IF WE REMOVE THE STOCK RAG JOINT, WE MUST REPLACE IT WITH A BOLT ON STOCK CAR STEERING JOINT WITH NO MODIFICATIONS TO THE JOINT,CORRECT? AND NO TRUCK,VAN OR SUV JOINTS,RIGHT? I will allow you to remove the rag joint but not add anything back that was not stock on that car you can turn it 90 degree and bolt it up with two 5/16 bolts and leave them loose so it will turn if ya want or you can 9 wire it or you can leave it stock you may not add anything that was not stock but I will let you remove stock parts and work with what you already have on the car. if u want to buy a new OEM rag to put in it I don't have a problem with that either.

I have had a few questions on the unlimited 9-wire you can only use that in areas where the rules allow. If you chain your doors shut you can not use the 9 wire to hold it also and say that's unlimited because the rule says. DOORS All other doors you may chain up to 4 places per door or you may wire 6 places per door. On wagon’s tailgates NO WELDING. You may chain or nine wire in four places.

Mac you could tilt the frame which would be no different than notching because u can not weld it back together. So I see no reason why someone would want to. All u would be doing is cutting the frame because if u use any thing to hold it together it would be reinforcing. I will not let you add anything to the frame for reinforcing. Just remember guys this is a stock show and will remain a stock show don't take chances that u will miss out on this show. so they can cold bend?

I'd said per rules states just the Vic newer style would be all you could change.....otherwise we could all argue the.fact that there's a better bumper than our stock one....galaxys should have to run there stock bumpers I'd say...I'd hate to see one roll in with a pointy. If they do ill roll out of the fairgrounds....the rules on bumpers suck should be all or known....meaning don't cater to the vics if they don't like it.pick another car...so now you can cold tilt a Vic with a pointy.or warhead and were all fukd however I don't see many people running the 4.6 but lookout for a square body with a carbed 302.
